Yes, this is news for all. D:
Philosophy is an amazing thing, and believe it or not, it ties hand in hand with Psychology. Both also involve thinking.
Sadly, I've been doing nothing but thinking for the past few weeks. I'm not too sure what sparked this huge thought process, but I do know that it's changed what I believe greatly...
I've been thinking greatly about Religion. I claim I'm a Christian, but I don't believe some of the things Christians do...
Like the Bible... I don't believe that, in order for you to be called a Christian, you HAVE to read it. I also don't believe that God knew you would be saved before you were born. That's forced belief, and Christians claim we have free will. We can't if God knew we'd be saved before we were born. That's also Pre-Destination.
I don't believe in prayer. It's never helped.
I don't believe in giving your life to a higher being. I only say "higher being" because in almost every religion out there, you give some aspect of your life to that worshiped god. I believe in free choice. You choose what you do. You choose to live your life. Not some higher being nor some other power. It's YOUR life. YOU live it.
I don't believe that you have to proclaim your religion in order for you to be apart of it. Your beliefs are yours. If someone shares them with you, go ahead and talk about it. Don't force it on someone else. It's not COOL! We aren't the British Anglicans nor the American Colonist Puritans from the olden days. We're a new era of people. Let's ACT like it!
Sex before marriage is fine if you use a condom. Better plan for accidents as well at that matter.
Swearing isn't bad. I don't see why people think it is. It's just a word or two. That's all.
I believe in reason. No, I don't believe in the Big Bang Theory. I believe that everything has a reason for happening and that everything has reason to it. There is some logic to why something happens.
I believe that Jesus died and rose again. I believe that you should worship. Church, if you can make it, is a good thing.
But that's not all...
I don't believe that one should work his or her life away to make money just to die. It's not particular brilliant.
I don't believe in medical practitioners.
I don't believe in most forms of medicine. It's a trick of the mind.
I don't believe in the United States of America's Political advances, as half the country puts it.
I believe that Communism, on a small scale, can work. It's possible for it to work on a large scale. But we, as humans, are just too DAMNED greedy. If we all sacrifice a little pride here and a little greed there, it can work.
I mean... I'm unlike my family...
I'm the only kid who hasn't been drinking regularly before. I'm still a virgin. I don't do drugs.
I'm just alienated right now.
I don't sleep properly anymore. I hardly eat.
All I do is drink liquids and it gets me through the day.
But am I really that different? Or are there others out there, somewhere, who think like me?
I feel like an outcast from most people...
Just an update on my life... I guess...

"Sex before marriage is fine if you use a condom." Condoms fail 15% of the time. [in the STD sense] [and 5 or so % of the time as far as breakage] Condoms fail 100% of the time as far as keeping your body from saying things you don't want it too.
"I don't believe that you have to proclaim your religion in order for you to be apart of it. Your beliefs are yours. If someone shares them with you, go ahead and talk about it. Don't force it on someone else. It's not COOL! We aren't the British Anglicans nor the American Colonist Puritans from the olden days. We're a new era of people. Let's ACT like it!" Before God accepts you openly you must first embrace him openly, in the Christian faith, that means baptism. As Christians today we are not doing enough to spread God's message. Who wants to stand by and let their friends and family go to Hell just because they didn't think it was "COOL" to talk to them about God?
"I don't sleep properly anymore. I hardly eat.
All I do is drink liquids and it gets me through the day." Wow, I wonder why you seem depressed and are doing nothing but thinking, YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE! You have to eat and sleep properly @ our age in order for your body and mind to function properly!
"I feel like an outcast from most people..." We've all had some "great thought proccess," all I have to say is stop bein another pussy emo!
Sorry if I have offended you but, oh well, too bad. You out do me everywhere in graphics, but this is where I have more, whatever it is. If you want to pm me do so. I'll speak with you privately about this or, if we can do so civil-ly, we can continue to speak openly on this thread.
Good day and good luck, Aaron Ash
God: "I am the way, I am the light." Man's reaction: "Why the hell do we have flashlights then?!?"

Yea...the thing is, if you go forcing YOUR religion on a Jewish person, then what is that? It's not right to force YOUR religion onto other people with their own beliefs. Have you ever that that maybe your particular religion, though close, is not EXACTLY right while the religion your trying to persuade others to leave is? Its not right....but as for the Atheist beliefs, then thats their problem. People should be able to choose their own path, and not have everyone practice THEIR religion just cause they grew up with it. RESPECT OTHERS! Another though on this all.....what if there is no right religion? When you think about it, th first signs of religion was during the Old Stone Age. They found proof of practiced religion when they uncovered a body with jewels and flowers buried around him. Those are the first signs of a thought about afterlife. If the Christian bible is true, then how come there are some signs of it missing? And look at the Egyptians. If God taught us from the beginning that we should worship him, then how did they come to start believing in multiple Gods? Its confusing. When it comes down to it, People believe in religion cause they are scared. Scared of death. They are scared of living their life just to die. When it comes down to it, religion is purely based on belief, which is why people fight about religion; why wars are fought, and people murdered. People believe that they need to believe in something bigger than them. They need to believe in something more. Don't get me wrong. I believe in God, and I am Christian. These are just the thoughts of one scared man. I have only had this conversation with one other person about this before. And it all started about....3 years or so ago when my brother asked me what happens to people when they died. I told them they go to heaven. Not sleeping properly and not eating properly is something that you need to get over bro. Force the food down your throat, and ,though it don't help me, clear your mind when you goto bed so you fall asleep without a wondering mind. Better yet, put your imagination to use and think of exciting awesome adventures like fighting a huge zombie outbreak, or ruling the world. Which ever. They help me sleep. As for being different, everyone is different. You can't help that. Some people think like even the worlds smartest person wouldn't. Being different , though, doesn't mean that there wouldn't be someone like you. Thats whats so great, being so different, we are all so alike. We share common interests while we all may have different reasons for liking said thing. So your only as big as an outcast as you let yourself be. Like KFD said, stop being so emotional, and thinking that you might be the only one who thinks like that. Though our conclusions are different, we have thought that same.

I wrote this a month or so ago when I left this place. >_>;; Why I got around to posting it NOW is... Unknown to me... While I feel alienated, I accept the fact that I am unique. KFD, again, I don't openly mock you intentionally and make fun of you. In fact, I don't due much of that to anyone anymore. While I speak my mind, I also speak what I believe to be right. If you must, compare me to The Joker from The Dark Knight; I'm like a dog chasing a car. I don't know what I'd do if I caught one; I just do things. In all reality, that is what I do. I do things because I can, not because I have to. And to make this clear, I AM a Christian. But no, it isn't "cool" to force your beliefs on someone else. They are YOURS. If everyone believed the same thing, there wouldn't be this bullshit about the big bang theory. So really, it's all psychology. HL was right; it's fear. Fear is a behavioral trait that is learned, inherited, and taught. We are taught to fear death. We learn to fear something we are afraid of. We inherit the fear of disease that runs in the family. We fear it. That fear stimulates the brain. That stimulation accentuates the senses and makes everything seem even more real and dangerous and pronounced. Religion was founded upon fear. That is why God says we should FEAR Him. By the way, with my sex spoof, I believe I also said "as long as you are ready to take on the consequences" at the end of that. I, personally, use the condom all the time. =P Now, Kung Fu, you think it's a good idea to press your beliefs on other people? You certainly sound like it's cool to do so. Say I force upon you what I believe now. You won't like it. Others don't either. That's why. Oh, and look at it this way. The first religion was Mythology. Myths sparked science. Science sparked religion. Religion sparked fear. Fear sparked study. Study sparked many other things. So before you go on thinking that you are right, think from more perspectives than yours. Believe me, it makes life easier. In Christianity, and ONLY Christianity, hell is bad. In all the other religions out there, hell isn't. So think of it this way: Why is Hell bad for Christians?

Sorry but, "If you must, compare me to The Joker from The Dark Knight; I'm like a dog chasing a car. I don't know what I'd do if I caught one; I just do things. In all reality, that is what I do. I do things because I can, not because I have to." You nor anyone is cool enough to be compared to the Joker.
"Now, Kung Fu, you think it's a good idea to press your beliefs on other people? You certainly sound like it's cool to do so." I apologize for my wording, forcing, not cool, speaking to someone about it, ok and acceptable, even advocatable.
"Oh, and look at it this way. The first religion was Mythology. Myths sparked science. Science sparked religion. Religion sparked fear. Fear sparked study. Study sparked many other things." First religion was polythiesm* in China 1.7 million years ago or so, the Greeks followed shortly after w/ mythology, but both developed independent of each other. Then there's Egypt and all that technical stuff... Please get your facts down, because, as I said earlier, you pwn me in graphix, I pwn elsewhere.
"So before you go on thinking that you are right, think from more perspectives than yours. Believe me, it makes life easier.
In Christianity, and ONLY Christianity, hell is bad. In all the other religions out there, hell isn't. So think of it this way: Why is Hell bad for Christians?" Now I believe it to be my turn to say take some of your own advice. I do see from other perspectives quite often. Hell is bad in Christianity, yes, but in several other religions hell is bad. Sumer, some chinese and indian religions.

Not unless you want to be put into a straight jacket and marched off to the white room. Ever since people saw how "maniacal" the Joker was, they wanted to be like him. It was pretty stupid. Yes the Joker was an amazing bad guy, No it would not be cool to be him. That like wanting to be Oj or Jack the Ripper, or better yet, Michael Myers (from Halloween) Its not smart to do so. Please get your facts down, because, as I said earlier, you pwn me in graphix, I pwn elsewhere. Lol...sounds like you two are trying to get into a battle of "Whos smarter than the other."

I am in no way maniacal. I just do things. Like the Joker does.
